I feel really chuffed about this one, as I have been telling my close friends for a while now that drinking bottled water all the time instead of tap water is actually bad for you. I was always received with the “fake smile” and or “the vacant stare” equaling to, thanks E but I’m gonna pretend you didn’t say that lol!
Well, the Geeks at Harvard have recently published an article proving me right!

Hello E, I am a mother of two (7 & 4 years) and and have been giving my children filtered tap water for as long as I can remember and for their water beakers that they have to have at school now, they have aluminium water cans. When my daughter was about 7 months old I drank from her water beaker which tasted of plastic! I was horrified as I realised that the water had plasticised in only a short amount of time. I searched high and low for a replacement. (Very hard) I did go through a stage of buying glass bottled water but the cost was too high, and it wasn’t safe to give the kids glass bottles!
Anyway tap water is the only way to go. Less chemicals, less packaging, less pollution through distribution. More chance of a planet being left for my kids future and their children’s future.
Hey Samara,
Firstly, thank you for posting. Secondly, well done on making the active change, especially when it comes to children. You are a supermom and I love it 🙂
Make sure you let your family and friends know to check out the link that directs them to purchasing BPA free bottles, especially baby bottles (although babies have a strong immune system, if they are premature or have a compromised immune system, I would personally go for a low BPA/BPA free bottle). The plus note is some are cheaper than regular bottles 🙂

I knew it! I love drinking tap water funny enough, I prefer the taste of it to bottled water.
Tap water all the way Diane (unless you are in a part of the world where tap water is unfiltered).
Thank you for leaving a comment. It helps to know what people think.
